WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE!
Saved To Serve is how we live out our vison at Bell Lane. Ephesians 2:1-10 tells us that we were dead in our sins, but God sent Jesus, His One and Only Son, to come and die for our sins. It is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus that we are saved. We are not saved by our good works. We are saved for good works. We are saved with a purpose, which is to serve.
At Bell Lane, our desire is to bring fame to the great name of Jesus. Every ministry, every event, and every worship service that takes place at Bell Lane exists for the sole purpose of making much of Jesus. We want to know Jesus, grow in Jesus, and share Him with our community, state, and world.

Our History
Our Vision
Bell Lane Baptist Church has been serving the Lord and the community of Clanton for over 75 years. In the spring of 1950, Mr. and Mrs. Zeddard Bolton held services in their home while the foundation for Bell Lane was being laid. On Dec. 10, 1950, the one room church, whose floor was saw dust and wood shavings with boards placed on nail kegs as benches, opened its doors with 37 people in attendance.
Here at Bell Lane, we believe we are Saved to Serve. This means we are not saved to BE served, but TO serve. We see this example clearly in the life of Jesus. In fact, Mark 10:45 tells us that even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. For this reason, we serve. We don't just come and see about Jesus, we go and tell others about Him!
